Invented by a WWI fighter pilot, this cocktail was said to have the kick of a French 75mm cannon. Hendricks Gin, fresh squeezed lemon juice, angostura bitters and simple syrup are shaken and topped off with Prosecco and a lemon twist.
Circa 1860, The Original Old Fashioned. Bulleit Bourbon, Angostura bitters, Regan Orange bitters, Fee Brothers orange bitters, simple syrup. Stir over ice, strain and garnish with a lemon twist. Delicious!
