In 1972, I lived on Concord. Walked out of my back door 30 yards to Twin Anchors. My not yet wife and I dined there at least 2 nights a week, coming in the side door. We loved it and when we moved, we still came here after our divorce. We got back together in 1995 and lived in Florida. The first time we were together in Chicago, the first thing we did was come to Twin Anchors. The black bread and ribs were just as good 23 years later. Today, 7/18/07, I returned from the Chicago Mackinaw Race, the three people I was with from Florida were told the story and I said we must go to Twin Anchors.
