In 1986, my son was born at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. I took my mother to see him for the first time. We left the hospital, my mother selected our dinner destination. She said there was a great place on Sedgwick, Twin Anchors. We had ribs and Amstel lights. I never knew my mom could drink beer, but she was so happy to have a grandson. It's nice to know that 21 years later, we are all still around-including Twin Anchors.
